I'm pleased to announce the creation and completion of a new website/logo redesign for Truehart Productions (a Media and Broadcasting Company with a VERY important mission).
The Backstory:
When Board President Ridgeley Hutchinson reached out to me to discuss this documentary in the making, I was immediately grateful to be able to use my design skills to help them achieve their documentary goals.
Why this Website Redesign Project, Documentary & Fundraising for it is SO IMPORTANT:
We are in a critical time when so many are struggling to understand the racial disparities that exist in our country. This documentary "THE PRICE OF SILENCE - The Forgotten Story of New Jersey's Enslaved People," will help address this issue.
The documentary takes place in New Jersey. As an east coast girl from Philadelphia, I was shocked to discover how little I knew about slavery in a neighboring state, and it's impact during this time period.
It is my firm belief this true story documentary will help enlighten others as well, and begin to bridge the knowledge gap that exists in our society today.
The Documentary Team:
Ridgeley has put together a very talented team to create this documentary including big names such as:
Consultant Bill Jersey, a two time Emmy Nominee for the Rise and Fall of Jim Crow
Director and Producer Andrew Schmertz, an on-air reporter, covering business and economics for the nightly, flagship news program for PBS
Cameraman Ed Nescot whose work has appeared on major networks all over the world, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, HGTV, A&E, Discovery, and BBC, among others
