Shiloh
I am not one to write reviews but I want people who are thinking about using Shelly’s services need to know their pet will receive excellent care. We found Shelly by not giving up on our expectations of who we would want to be watching, walking and caring for our precious puppy Shiloh. From the time we had our first “meet and greet” with Shelly our puppy of ten weeks old loved her immediately. Shelly genuinely cared about our pup and our top concerns about Shiloh’s care. Shelly’s great animal knowledge and knowing the phases helped us in knowing what to expect as our puppy went through her phases of growth. Shelly guided us with walking her and training us with what to expect with respect to her growth and stages. Basically she helped us be street wise in a country environment with a new puppy which we greatly appreciated. Shelly was also very instrumental in our puppy Shiloh’s socialization aspects. We started with Shelly’s dog Yosemite and going on morning walks with Shelly ad Yosemite. Months later Shiloh is walking great and has no fear of other groups of dogs and interacting with other dogs. Thanks to Shelly this came to us as a huge relief. We can honestly say Shelly and her services have been instrumental in the growth of our puppy Shiloh through various stages.
So if you are reading this review, give Shelly a call and see for yourself. Your pet will be in great care. Ours has and that’s why I am writing this review. We feel blessed and beyond grateful to have Shelly in our lives.

We have left our Sassy with Shelly twice now. As much as we miss Sassy when we are away, I know, without a doubt, that she is being loved and getting all the exercise and hugs she needs and wants. I highly recommend Shelly to care for your dog while you vacation...unless of course, we need her during the same time frame. In that case, we call dibs. ❤️

Mighty Joe Young
Shelly was awesome! Her love and passion for dogs definitely shows. Shelly was able to accommodate our needs and was super easy to work with. Mighty, my 125lbs Cane Corso, was dropped off at home by Shelly. He was happy and pooped! She also sent pictures throughout the day and had time to make a video clip of Mighty. It was awesome. I recommend Shelly and will be calling her again whenever we are in need of a sitter :)

Shelly is a great sitter! I used her for the first time recently when I had to go out of town for a week. She was super accommodating on short notice, which I really appreciated. I have several other hosts that I use on dog vacay, but Shelly is my new favorite! I like that she is very active with the dogs and she sends tons of cute photo/video updates. You won't have to worry about your fur baby when you're away, Shelly takes good care of them and is super easy and pleasant to work with.

We could not be any happier with the love, care and attention Jackson received while staying with Shelly & Maui. From our meet and greet, the connection and calmness that Jackson felt towards Shelly was immediate. This was important because Jackson is a rescue who is a scaredy cat (shhh he's our big boy) and is anxious. Shelly made Jackson feel at home like he was her very own. He got a whole lot of lovin' which is exactly what we were looking for. We were excited to receive pics and short video clips of our baby boy while on our trip. We could tell he had a great time because he came home not acting up and was a happy boy. We will DEFINITELY use Shelly again. Jackson found a new bud in Maui also. Shelly was a great find!!! She cares so much for animals, and you can tell that right away. From the moment we met for a meet and greet, I could tell that Zoe would be in great hands. She always requires a meet and greet for the safety of all dogs involved, and I appreciate that greatly. She's very responsive when emailed or through text, and she frequently sent pictures throughout Zoe's stay. Her home is very clean and tidy, and the dogs roam as they please. I could tell that Zoe had a great time because she was so relaxed and chill when I picked her up at the end of her stay. I will definitely use Shelly again, and I definitely will recommend her to everyone!!! Thanks again, Shelly!!!

Shellz has saved my LIFE! I have a 6 month old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois pup who just FULL of energy! With my work schedule I can't get him the exercise he needs to stay a happy and healthy pup, but luckily there is Shelly! a couple times a week she comes and grabs the baby and they go on an adventure! She not only keeps his body moving but keeps his mind active too with little pit stops for training and treats! Shelly was extremely easy to work with and my golden retriever, HoneyBear loved her too. Shelly is very responsible with her background intake information and set up a first meet and greet at a dog park and at her home.
Shelly also had me fill out emergency info as well as the dog’s preferences, food, habits and exercise.
In addition Shelly is a fabulous professional photographer and made a movie of HoneyBear. We were very satisfied with Shellyz’s services and would use her again.

From our first meeting, it was quite apparent that Shelly loves and has a special connection with dogs! Signed my Kira up for multiple dog walking sessions, as she has no leash experience. Let me tell ya, it’s not rewarding being walked by a Great Pyrenees, pulling your arm out of it’s socket! Well, Shelly turned that behavior around in no time, with lots of love, praise and positive feedback.
Shelly knows good folks and practices when she sees it. She’s smart, compassionate and steady/consistent. Run don’t walk to her services - so glad we did!

Shelly took care of my Golden Retriever for 8 days in her home. She sent updates daily if not more with pictures and posted to other sites I could keep updated with. It was clear that he had a really good time. I know he's going to be sad to leave. He gets a lot more exercise with her than at home plus caring and attention. She definitely pays attention to a lot of things regarding my pet. She got to know his quirks quickly and was cautious about fitting him into the pack even though he loves everyone. She also said she wouldn't take him to the dog park that he went to daily unless she knew and trusted every other dog there. From everything I saw and talked to her about, I definitely trust her with my boy. She's also better than a commerical kennel because she doesn't leave at night. Come to find out, he was sleeping in her bed with other dogs. How much better can it get? She does have limited capacity to take dogs in her house, but that's the only potential downside I may run into in the future.

We had a 4 day trip coming up that we needed someone to come and check-in on our 2yr old bernedoodle Ollie and let him out to go potty while my sister was at work.This was Ollie's first time being left home alone for more than a few hours and days. Shelly provided drop- in care for my dog and cat. I was impressed by her from the beginning by her meet and greet with the pets and her attention to the details of learning about our needs. She made sure our quirky dog was comfortable with her. Right before we left, a plumbing issue turned our house into a demolition zone, she proceeded unphased. While we were zone, Shelly spoiled us with pictures of our fur babies.

OMG, I can't say enough great things about Shelly and the amazing care she took of our senior dogs! She boarded them at her house, crate-free, so that they could live like they do at home (though a crate is available if that's what the owner requests!). They spent 8 nights with her. The best part was receiving fun videos and pictures of my girls everyday. That is such a relief when you are away and worried about and missing your fur-kids!!! Shelly loved on them and treated them like her own. Speaking of her own, Shelly has a beautiful lab, Yosemite, that was so sweet with my seniors and they all got along great!! I HIGHLY recommend Shelly for the care of your pups...you will not be disappointed!!
