Today was a hard day....It's never easy when you care for so many #dogs, especially a dog like Toby.
Toby and I met earlier this year and have spent a lot of time together mostly cuddling, going for short walks, giving him his insulin and of course breakfast and dinner. I was excited when his owner told me he needed care for Toby this weekend as he had just returned from his deployment and I haven't seen Toby for a few months. His owner mentioned he wasn't doing so good with this diabetes and struggling quite a bit. 😢
Sadly, I learned last night Toby had taken his last breathe with his owner by his side. 💔 Something tells me Toby planned it this way, being with his BEST FRIEND. They shared EVERYTHING together. As heartbroken as I was to learn of his passing, I felt happy in my heart they were together when Toby headed to Rainbow Bridge. Needless to say, I visited today with tears in my eyes to return the garage opener.
Rest in Paradise Toby, YOU ARE FREE from pain, and I'm grateful I got to know your beautiful canine soul.

Losses are HARD so I tell myself to focus on the GAINS and what I’m BLESSED to do everyday.
This morning I did just that…focus on my clients who were counting on me to show up and take them out walking!
It was Tucker’s last day of staycation before heads to Arizona tomorrow.

The lovebirds kicked off the morning at 6am with one last Dogpark date where they shared a beautiful sunrise and 1.36 mile walk 🐶🐶❤️💗
Next we got Huey. I don’t think he’s digging this EARLY walk time 😂 (see photo for what he thinks of it LOL) .84 miles for Huey today!
I had to make amends with Gracie after we missed her Wednesday walk due to excessive heat so we did some hills with a view this morning! She loved her 1.65 mile walk and we are besties again. 😂🐶💗
The handsome Roc was SO READY for his 1.36 mile walk! Just look at this guy! Melts my heart with how good looking he is and you can see in his eyes and strut how happy he is to be out walking! 😍😍😍😍
